We are deeply invested in our communities and seeking ways to give back to those in need, as well as those subjected to one or more of the many forces of oppression present in our world. If you're interested in working with us or learning from us, and identify with an oppressed/marginalized group and/or feel constrained by finances, you can request a scholarship application here.
If you're interested in contributing to this fund, either because you believe in and want to support our mission, or you've worked with us and feel it was worth more than you paid, or you're just a philanthropic altruistic soul, THANK YOU!! Please inquire here to discuss options, or simply send funds and a note via Venmo to @averydeane.
A portion of the proceeds (5%) from all of our courses are donated to local charities and BIWOC in our community. Currently, we're contributing to Helping Hands and The Next Door Inc as organizations, as well as directly to several BIWOC with chronic illness.
"She worked her toes into the sand, feeling the tiny delicious pain of the friction of tiny chips of silicon against the tender flesh between her toes. That's life. It hurts, it's dirty, and it feels very, very good."
